I have another suggestion to add. For those wanting a completely horn loaded system top to bottom, the back ports are easily blocked off making the boxes horn only and then a separate horn sub bass could easily be added below 50-60 hz. There are very few boxes that I am aware of that go down to 50hz horn loaded and are not folded. Can't stress enough the improvement in sound over a folded bass horn when you use to 500hz.

Actually for those who need to conserve space and are willing to live without that last bit of impact and realism only a horn loaded bass can give there are any number of very small subs these days that go down to around 16hz that could be used below the 210.

Actually, once you reactance annull it, there will be enough rear chamber Vb left over to make it the sub's enclosure, just as some have done with the A7.

Wow great idea! Why not use the box and space already there. I forgot about needing to make the back chamber smaller in the pure horn configuration. There is about 6 cubic feet on the bottom half that would be unused, enough box size for most subs even some newer 18"'s.

I wanted post this information for my speakers or anyone else that has really big speakers to ship.
An example of shipping prices for both 210 boxes is less than $170 for the pair from Florida to Los Angeles, could be even less than that but that was the high estimate.
